A LITTLE CLARITY

Good questions.
Clear answers.

The details worth knowing before a card goes on your counter or a customer enters your workspace.

The physical experience

What does an NFC review card actually do?

The card stores a web link. On a compatible phone, a tap offers to open that link in the browser. A Kintouch touchpoint link can open your business’s feedback experience, Google review destination, contact form, booking page, menu or another HTTPS destination.

Does a customer need to install an app?

The Kintouch customer page opens in a web browser. NFC reading depends on the phone, its settings and how the tag is programmed. Include the QR alternative and test both routes on the phones your customers use.

Can I change what a card opens later?

Yes. Program the permanent touchpoint URL into the card, then change its flow or destination from your workspace. Keep that URL on the card. Deleting the touchpoint permanently removes the route’s underlying record; pausing or archiving preserves it for later use.

Which materials, colours and sizes can I choose?

The design studio previews wood, PVC, acrylic and metal stands, card finishes, preset and custom hex colours, measured sizes, branding and optional finishing touches. It shows centimetres and inches. These are design options and illustrative prices; final availability, production dimensions, finish and pricing are confirmed before an order.

Reviews, feedback & customer care

Can only five-star customers reach Google?

No. The Google review option remains available regardless of the rating. Private feedback is a separate choice. Google prohibits selectively asking for positive reviews or discouraging negative ones; Kintouch’s flow is designed to keep that choice open.

Does a Google link click mean a review was posted?

No. Kintouch can record that someone opened the review link. It cannot assume that the customer finished posting on Google. Visits, private feedback and Google link clicks are separate metrics.

Do Google reviews give me the customer’s email or phone number?

Do not assume they do. Collect contact details separately when someone chooses to share them, or associate details you already have permission to use. Kintouch captures separate email and WhatsApp follow-up permissions.

What happens to negative private feedback?

A 1–3 star private submission creates a recovery case. You can assign a responsibility label, set a due time, add notes and move it from open to in progress to resolved. Follow-up needs a contact method and the relevant permission.

The workspace & getting started

Can I manage more than one business or branch?

Yes. One owner can create and switch between businesses, and organise locations and touchpoints within each business. Staff and assignee names are reporting or responsibility labels; separate staff accounts and role permissions are not available yet.

Can messages come from my own business?

Yes, after setup. Email sending uses your verified domain through Resend. WhatsApp uses your official WhatsApp Business Platform number and supported approved Utility templates. Connect the provider, configure templates and permissions, and explicitly enable sending. Personal WhatsApp and WhatsApp Web are not automated.

Will sending work immediately when I create an account?

No. Automatic sending needs your business’s verified provider account, credentials and enabled rules. Incoming replies require receiving configuration as well. Domain and provider charges are separate. You can use manual follow-up tasks while preparing those connections.

Can I try it before setting up a business?

Yes. The interactive demo explains the customer journey, and the sample workspace lets you explore fictional business records. Sample changes stay in that session and do not send real messages. For a live pilot, contact Kintouch to confirm account verification, setup and the scope you need.

Can I archive or remove records?

Yes. Supported records have folder, archive or Trash controls. Restoration preserves their identity, while cards and rules return paused. Permanent deletion requires confirmation. Customer-data removal is separate from archiving, which retains records.
